Jill Killington is a visionary director, writer, and producer with experience across film, prestige television, studio development, reality tv, commercials, and ai. She is best known for writing and producing the Paramount+ star studded tv series adaptation of Stephen King’s iconic horror epic, The Stand starring Alexander Skaarsgard, Whoopi Goldberg, and James Marsden.
As a WGA screenwriter, Jill has specialized in adapting celebrated literary novels, including Clive Barker’s dark-fantasy Imajica for MRC in 2014 and a feature-film reimagining of Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles for Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment in 2016. She also story produced the legendary irreverent sketch comedy show Loiter Squad on Adult Swim starring Tyler the Creator and Odd Future, produced by the creators of Jackass.
Jill is currently in post-production on her feature film directorial debut, MR+MRS DEATH—a killer love story starring Lindsey Normington, Ben Peter, and Ray Wise that’s due for wide theatrical release in 2027.
Her recent work includes applied science and generative AI artistry at Amazon MGM Studios.
