I watched the Hollywood studio system collapse over the past few years -- if you ask me, it was bloated, sick, and deserved to die. I took plenty of Hollywood cash as a writer and producer but for the most part it wasn’t satisfying on a creative level -- it was heartbreaking.
Since then, I’ve been looking for a more sustainable way of producing movies that matter.
